  Ingleside Scout Camp

Kinnersley Centre
The Ingleside Scout Camp received funding through Pittwater RSL Clubís ClubGRANTS scheme. This grant has contributed to the upgrading of the kitchen in the Kinnersley Centre, one of the main buildings that is used for the youth and members of the Scouting Movement and various other community groups

The Kinnersley Centre was acquired n the late 1970ís by the Ingleside Scout Camp from Willoughby Council. It was the Chatswood Senior Citizen Centreís building, which was being redeveloped.

Since then the building has been upgraded to suit the needs of the camp. The old kitchen needed upgrading and through the program major materials were purchased. Various members of the Scout Association, including parents, leaders and Rover Scouts volunteered their labour. Work included, relining and painting the walls and ceiling, tiling of the work areas and installation of modern stainless steel benches and shelves.

Recent users of the campís facilities have been very impressed with the upgraded kitchen.

Club Grants is an annual program where local clubs support local community organisations.
