  National Tree Day

27th July 2014

Ingleside Scout Environment team participated in 2014 National Tree Day on Sunday July 27th 2014

It was decided to add to the habitat area that was started at Tree day in 2013 in part of the car park at Ingleside Scout Camp, to attract bird and animal life.

Youth, Family and Leader members from Elanora Scout Group, as well as Ingleside Environment team members, first prepared the area by removing rocks and other building waste. Old railway sleepers were used to make a garden bed.

Once the ground was prepared 100 trees, scrubs and grasses were planted, watered and mulch was added to help retain moisture.
